About Me
Hello, and thank you very much for taking a look around my "e-desk." If it doesn't tell you much about me, then I hope it reveals that my family is a huge part of my life (if you can't see my wedding picture, I guess your monitor isn't big enough, bummer!). I love my wife more than anything in the whole world, and she inspires me in ways that I couldn't possibly imagine, particularly in my creative profession (she sees everything I work on, and she's honest with me. I mean come on, she lives with me, so how couldn't she tell me when my work stinks? Course, she does tell me when it's awesome too... :-)
Speaking of Awesome (that's right, with a capital "A"), I think being Awesome is about the most important thing a person can do. Ever since I learned about "Strong Bad" from homestarrunner.com, I've told myself "I'm Awesome," even if I don't believe it at the time. So my work gets the same treatment, because I'm always trying to make it more awesome. If you are thinking of hiring me for a project or full-time, I want you to be a part of the process for making all of our products awesome. I'll put my bit of Awesome into it, you help me make it more awesome with some feedback, and together we can put some designs together that will knock your viewers socks off.
I think my resume should tell you all the grimy details about my education and career history, and it will hopefully tell you about my skill-set as well. One thing I want to be clear on is that I am not a programmer or a fine artist, I'm a designer. That means I'm going to bring a pile of thought and philosophy along with some serious strategy as we develop your projects. My goal is to represent you and your company/organization in the most clean and visually accessible way to your whoever you are marketing to (your audience). Any questions?
